Freya, an important Goddess in Norse mythology, embodies fertility, love, beauty, gold, and death, symbolizing the complex cycles of life and transformation. Associated with good fortune, sunshine, and fine weather, she represents light and hope, while her connection to the dragonfly—whose mating pairs form the shape of a heart—evokes themes of love and renewal. This fusion of ancient symbolism and artistic expression invites you to live your most creative life with intention and passion. Mixed media with watercolour, ink, velvet and found objects on 300gsm Arches paper. Framed in a dark blue mat and a black frame, and with dimensions of 51cm x 70cm, Freya will transform any room.
