Mixed Media Assemblage The crucified woman is surrounded by symbols of the things that oppress her, yet she prevails. Available for Sale
Mixed Media Assemblage An indication of the importance of our sea life and the extent to which it is vulnerable due to our carelessness. Artist's Collection
Mixed Media Assemblage The doll parts attached to the glass vessel give the impression of disembodiment of the female, and separates the outside from the inside. The 'inner harmony' is represented by a miniature glass piano, with light shining through it from deep within. Available for Sale.
Mixed Media Assemblage The doll parts attached to the glass vessel give the impression of disembodiment of the female, and separates the outside from the inside. The 'inner princess' is Repunzel, represented by the hair rope coming from the castle inside the glass container, indicating that even the enviable position of princess is flawed and constrictive. Artist's Collection
Mixed Media Assemblage The doll parts attached to the glass vessel give the impression of disembodiment of the female, and separates the outside from the inside. The 'inner bliss' is represented by a miniature deck chair, dog and vegetation in the inner chamber of the glass container. This is suspended above a turquoise 'ocean' suggesting the bliss of an uninhabited tropical island. Available for Sale.
Mixed Media Assemblage The doll parts attached to the glass vessel give the impression of disembodiment of the female, and separates the outside from the inside. The 'inner child' is depicted by dollhouse miniatures - a girl playing with her dogs in the outdoors. The work represents our 'inner child' that craves a return to childhood innocence and a greater connection to nature. Available for Sale.
Mixed Media Assemblage The 'inner hero' is the domestic goddes - the household manager, mother, wife and housekeeper. She is represented by the household goods that form her skirt, and the miniature inside of the woman over the sink. She is 'leaking' some of her inner strength which is streaked with blood. Regardless of the monotonous work she is often subject to, she is a hero for enduring and surmounting the drudgery. Available for Sale.
Mixed Media Assemblage The doll parts attached to the glass vessel give the impression of disembodiment of the female, and separates the outside from the inside. The 'inner sanctum' is depicted in two ways. Firstly there is the paper domicile under the glass; with the eggs in the nest cared for by the bird on the woman's hat as the second 'inner sanctum'. Both represent the fragility of life, but also the power of feminine strength. Available for Sale.

Mixed media assemblage. Veneer represents the facade that we present to others in order to 'fit in', often disguising a far more interesting interior, which hopefully (through education) begins to seep through the veneer and be revealed to the world. Available for Sale.
Mixed media assemblage. This Victorianesque faux taxidermy reminds us of our impact on the environment. GALLINULA maleficis artibus translates roughly to the common name Moorhen Sorcery or Magic Moorhen. This work also points to the irony of preserving something for posterity, whilst simultaneously contributing to its elimination. This kind of mixed message is prevalent in the hidden curriculum. Available for Sale.
Mixed Media Assemblage. This Victorianesque faux taxidermy reminds us of our impact on the environment. Common name is Pink Cake Moorhen. This work also points to the irony of preserving something for posterity, whilst simultaneously contributing to its elimination. This kind of mixed message is prevalent in the hidden curriculum.
