Art Classes for 7 - 15 year olds

Art is fun for kids, but it is so much more than that. Art is arguably the oldest and most universal way of communicating; one that crosses boundaries of time, distance and culture. Further, research shows that the study of art develops not only creativity but enhances general learning and contributes to 'right brain' thinking such as growth mindsets and encourages diversity by allowing for multiple solutions to a problem.

Ann is an experienced and fully registered leading teacher and loves to impart the tools and tips of creativity to younger generations in a safe environment. Free from judgement and assessment, children develop their creativity at a rate that exceeds even their expectations. Students can learn to draw and paint just as they can learn to read and write. All they need is the time, space and encouragement. Students can access classes on school holidays  after school during term time. Trial lesson for $20.

All children are artists. The problem is how to remain an artist once he grows up.

Classes are open to students at all levels, and sessions are generally an hour and a half during term time. They can be booked for blocks or terms at $30/class. Single lessons are $32 per person. All materials are included. Maximum of 6 students/class.
