Mixed Media Assemblage, 2019. The snail is a symbol of patience in life; a reassurance that you will get to your destination, even if you are moving slowly. It also reminds us that we need to keep moving forward, and stay grounded and humble. At times we need to be brave and outgoing, but equally, at other times, we may need to retreat and reflect. These qualities are essential in the development of people as well as creative projects, so the snail's inclusion in the art studio is important.
